Soo Yeon has low self-esteem due to her family background. She is often physically abused by her father.
Hyung Joon is involved in the older generation’s conflict for inheritance. He escapes with dogs hot on his heels and becomes physically disabled as a result.
Jung Woo finds Soo Yeon under the slide and asks her to be his friend. He decides not to ignore her anymore even if she is known as a murderer’s daughter.
Known as a murderer’s daughter, Soo Yeon is treated as an outcast so is Jung Woo who is her friend.
Jung Woo teaches Soo Yeon a hand signal to forget her bad memories.

Soo Yeon is rescued by Hyung Joon who wants to keep her by his side.
Zoe(Soo Yeon) and Harry(Hyung Joon) now share mutual dependence and they cannot live without the other.
Zoe now knows who Jung Woo is.
After knowing Zoe met Jung Woo, Harry says that he will wait for her no matter how long it takes and Zoe claims that she hates Jung Woo.
Jung Woo suggests that they could be secret lovers.
Harry meets Jung Woo regarding the murder of Nurse Hyemi who takes care of Hyung Joon when he is young. (if i am not wrong)
Harry now only has revenge in his mind.
Harry meets his mother finally but she has become mentally unwell and fails to recognise him.
Harry’s real identity is revealed and Soo Yeon realises Hyung Joon lied to her about not knowing anything about the past.
Harry/ Hyung Joon has gone “crazy”. He is not on Soo Yeon’s side anymore and frames her for all the murder he committed.
Jung Woo protects Soo Yeon who is suspected for murder.
Dramatic scene where they are brought back to that day.
Hyung Joon shoots Jung Woo and commits suicide (he did not die though).
The couple finally got together.
